Top 5 players with most consecutive Test matches

Can you name the player, who has played the most number of consecutive Test matches? Does West Indian legend Brian Lara holds a place in top 5?

As of now, Brendon McCullum of New Zealand has played the 5th most number of consecutive Test matches. He had played 101 consecutive matches between 10 March 2004 and 20 February 2016.

Currently, Sunil Gavaskar of India has played the 4th most number of consecutive Tests. He had played 106 consecutive matches between 23 January 1975 and 3 February 1987.

Mark Waugh of Australia has played the 3rd most number of consecutive matches. He had played 107 consecutive matches between 3 June 1993 and 19 October 2002.

Alastair Cook of England has played the 2nd most number of consecutive Test matches. He had played 131* consecutive matches between 11 May 2006 and 11 August 2016.

And in the history of Tests, Allan Border of Australia has played the most number of consecutive matches. He had played 153 consecutive matches between 10 March 1979 and 25 March 1994.
