Top 5 highest partnerships by debutants in Tests

Do you know, which the highest partnership record by debutants in Test history is? Do you know, one team features twice in the list of top 5?

As of now, Mohammad Hafeez and Yasir Hameed pair of Pakistan currently occupies the 5th spot of the highest partnerships by debutants in in Test history. This pair scored 134 runs for the 2nd wicket, against Bangladesh in the year 2003 at Karachi.

George Headley and Frank de Caires pair of West Indies, currently occupies the 4th spot in this list. This pair scored 142 runs for the 3rd wicket, against England in the year 1930 at Bridgetown.

Tamim Iqbal and Junaid Siddique pair of Bangladesh occupies the 3rd spot. This pair scored 161 runs for the 1st wicket, against New Zealand in the year 2008 at Dunedin.

Dave Houghton and Andy Flower pair of Zimbabwe occupies the 2nd spot. This pair scored 165 runs for the 6th wicket, against India in the year 1992 at Harare.

And in the history of Tests, Khalid Ibadulla and Abdul Kadir pair of Pakistan occupies the top spot of the highest partnerships by debutants. This pair scored 249 runs for the 1st wicket, against Australia in the year 1964 at Karachi.
