Top 5 highest partnerships by debutants in ODIs

Do you know, which the highest partnership record by debutants in One Day Internationals is? Can you imagine, among the top 5, one partnership belongs to lesser known Papua New Guinea team?

As of now, Vani Morea and Charles Amini pair of Papua New Guinea currently occupies the 5th spot of the highest partnerships by debutants in One Day Internationals. This pair scored 91 runs for the 6th wicket, against Hong Kong in the year 2014 at Townsville.

Mazhar Hussain and Vijay Mehra pair of United Arab Emirates currently occupies the 4th spot in this list. This pair scored 94 runs for the 3rd wicket, against India in the year 1994 at Sharjah.

Michael Lumb and Moeen Ali pair of England occupies the 3rd spot. This pair scored 96 runs for the 1st wicket, against West Indies in the year 2014 at North Sound.

Steve Tikolo and Maurice Odumbe pair of Kenya occupies the 2nd spot. This pair scored 96 runs for the 3rd wicket, against India in the year 1996 at Cuttack.

And currently, Ryan Watson and Neil McCallum pair of Scotland occupies the top spot of the highest partnerships by debutants in One Day Internationals.  This pair scored 118 runs for the 5th wicket, against Pakistan in the year 2006 at Edinburgh.
