First and only 3 wicketkeeper opener captains in Tests

Is it possible for a captain to open batting for his team,
while also doing duty behind the stumps in a 5 day match?
So here it is…..

In the history of T20s, Imtiaz Ahmed of Pakistan is the 3rd wicketkeeper captain who opened batting for his team in the same match. He has played this role 3 times from 1959 to 1962.

Gerry Alexander of West Indies is the 2nd wicketkeeper captain who opened batting for his team in the same match. He has done this twice during 1959.

And, Percy Sherwell of South Africa is the 1st wicketkeeper captain ever in the history of Tests who opened batting for his team in the same match. He has played this role 7 times from 1907 to 1911.
