As of now Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka has hit the 5th most numbers of fours in Tests.
He has hit 1491 fours in 134 matches, while scoring 12400 runs.

Currently, the 4th spot is occupied by Ricky Ponting of Australia with 1509 fours.
He hit these fours in 168 matches, while scoring 13378 runs.

The 3rd spot is occupied by Brian Lara of West Indies with 1559 fours.

The 2nd spot is occupied by Rahul Dravid of India with 1654 fours.
