A captain from 1889 registers his name here in the list of top 10. Guess who?

As of now, Monty Bowden of England is the 10th youngest captain in Test history.
He became captain at the age of 23 years 144 days, in the year 1889 against South Africa at Cape Town.

Mohammad Ashraful of Bangladesh currently is the 9th youngest captain in Test history.
He became captain at the age of 22 years and 353 days, in the year 2007 against Sri Lanka at Colombo.

Murray Bisset of South Africa is the 8th youngest captain in Test history.
He became captain at the age of 22 years and 306 days, in the year 1899 against England at Johannesburg.

Javed Miandad of Pakistan is the 7th youngest captain in Test history.
He became captain at the age of 22 years and 260 days, in the year 1980 against Australia at Karachi.
