Here Australian player Mark Taylor occupies the 10th spot with 334* runs scored against Pakistan in 1998 at Peshawar,
which took him 720 minutes.

English player Wally Hammond currently occupies the 9th spot with 336* runs scored against New Zealand in 1933 at Auckland,
which took him 318 minutes.

Pakistani player Hanif Mohammad currently occupies the 8th spot with 337 runs scored against West Indies in 1958 at Bridgetown,
which took him 970 minutes.

Sri Lankan player Sanath Jayasuriya currently occupies the 7th spot with 340 runs scored against India in 1997 at Colombo,
which took him 799 minutes.

English player Leonard Hutton currently occupies the 6th spot with 364 runs scored against Australia in 1938 at The Oval,
which took him 797 minutes.

West Indian player Garry Sobers currently occupies the 5th spot with 365* runs scored against Pakistan in 1958 at Kingston,
which took him 614 minutes.

which took him 752 minutes.

West Indian player Brian Lara currently occupies the 3rd spot with 375 runs scored against England in 1994 at St John's,
which took him 766 minutes.

Australian player Matthew Hayden currently occupies the 2nd spot with 380 runs scored against Zimbabwe in 2003 at Perth,
which took him 622 minutes.

Finally with 400* runs, Brian Lara, the West Indian legend is the highest run scorer in an Innings in the history of Tests scored against England in 2004 at St John's,
which took him 778 minutes.
