Mushfiqur Rahim of Bangladesh  is the 10th youngest captain in Test history.
He became captain at the age of 23 years and  50 days, on 21 Oct 2011 against West Indies at Chittagong.

Mohammad Ashraful of Bangladesh  is the 9th youngest captain in Test history.
He became captain at the age of 22 years and  353 days, on 25 June 2007 against Sri Lanka at Colombo.

Murray Bisset of South Africa is the 8th youngest captain in Test history.
He became captain at the age of 22 years and  306 days, on 14 February 1899 against England at Johannesburg.

Javed Miandad of Pakistan is the 7th youngest captain in Test history.
He became captain at the age of 22 years and  260 days, on 27 February 1980 against Australia at Karachi.

Ian Craig of Australia is the 6th youngest captain in Test history.
He became captain at the age of 22 years and  194 days, on 23 December 1957 against South Africa at Johannesburg.
